The latest girls basketball poll welcomes Jeff Davis and Lovett, while wishing happy trails to Fitzgerald and Vidalia. Here's a look at this week's top 10:

1. Wesleyan (16-2, 7-0 Region 6): The Lady Wolves are rolling, finishing last week 3-0 and coasting to region wins over Pace Academy (52-14) and Hapeville Charter (65-32) before closing out with a 60-32 win over Loganville on Saturday in the Krossover Classic. This week they'll host KIPP - the Lady Warriors don't make their record available online (they're listed as 0-6, 0-6 on MaxPreps) - on Tuesday and Fellowship Christian (5-10) in a non-region contest on Saturday.
2: Pelham (15-1, 6-0 R1): The Lady Hornets move up a spot in the rankings with non-region wins over Cairo (69-36) and Valdosta (40-33) and a 75-30 win over Fitzgerald in league play. They play a non-region game against Class A's Calhoun County (14-3) on Tuesday, then play a Saturday-Sunday pair against region foes Thomasville (10-9, 2-5) and Early County (7-11, 3-3), respectively.
3. Holy Innocents' (15-4, 6-1 R6): The Lady Golden Bears dropped a spot in the rankings with their 71-61 loss to St. Francis on Saturday in the Krossover Classic. It was a surprise to some that they fell in the rankings given that St. Francis is Class A's No. 1-ranked team, and the Lady Golden Bears beat a ranked team in then-No. 10 Greater Atlanta Christian. In fact, the Lady Spartans actually moved up a spot in the rankings despite their loss. This week the Lady Golden Bears host Hapeville Charter (9-10, 1-6) on Tuesday and No. 10 Lovett (14-6, 4-3) on Friday.
4. Model (19-0, 7-0 R7): The Lady Blue Devils are the only ranked team that remains undefeated. They played just one game last week - a 61-24 region win over Chattooga - and return to action this week with league contests against Dade County (13-6, 5-2) and Gordon Lee (9-9, 3-4) before playing Christian Heritage (5-10) in non-region play on Saturday. Though Dade County's record looks as though it would make for a competitive game, the Lady Blue Devils won the previous matchup 50-18 on Dec. 4.
5. Rabun County (16-3, 5-0 R8): The Lady Wildcats steamrolled through league play last week, going 3-0 with no opponent coming within 30 points of them. They beat Oglethorpe County (81-20), Washington-Wilkes (58-26) and Greene County (68-24). They take a 14-game win streak into this week, when they face AAA's Jefferson (14-4) on Tuesday and region foes Social Circle (8-9, 1-4) and Union County (11-6, 4-1).
6. Bleckley County (11-3, 6-0 R4): The Lady Royals moved up a spot, taking Fitzgerald's place, thanks to a 3-0 week highlighted by a 44-38 overtime region win over Northeast. They also edged then-No. 8 West Laurens 42-36 of AAAA in non-league play. They have two region games this week against Crawford County (0-14, 0-7) and Macon County (9-6, 3-3).
7. Putnam County (15-4, 5-1 R4): The Lady Eagles jump two spots in the rankings thanks to region wins over Northeast (59-41) and Monticello (64-35). This week they play the same opponents as region foe Bleckley County - Macon County and Crawford County.
8. Jeff Davis (16-1, 6-1 R2): The Lady Yellow Jackets enter the rankings thanks to a 3-0 week that included wins over Telfair County, Bacon County and Groves. It is a bit of a surprise, however, that they find themselves ranked while region rival Vidalia exits the rankings, despite the fact the Lady Indians beat Jeff Davis 70-52 on Jan. 5. The Lady Indians are 15-2 and 8-1 and will play the Lady Yellow Jackets again next Tuesday. In the meantime, Jeff Davis plays Long County (14-6, 7-2) and St. Vincent's (7-9, 3-5) in league play this week.
9. GAC (10-7, 4-3 R6): The Lady Spartans curiously move up a spot in the rankings despite playing just one game this week - against then-No. 2-ranked Holy Innocents' - and losing it 55-49. Even more puzzling is that Holy Innocents' dropped a spot in the rankings. The Lady Spartans look to get back on track this week with region games against Pace (5-9, 2-5) and Hapeville.
10. Lovett (14-6, 4-3 R6): The Lady Lions join the rankings after a 2-0 week in which they beat Hapeville and Pace in league play. Their stay in the rankings could be short-lived, however, as this week they play region foe No. 3 Holy Innocents' - a team that beat them 72-56 on Dec. 11. That's the Lady Lions' only game this week.
