1. Wesleyan (14-2, 5-0 in Region 6): There's no disputing the Lady Wolves' top ranking. Not only did they enter the season with the momentum of being defending state champs, but their play last week has cemented them atop Region 6. They played three of the region's strongest teams - now-No. 10 GAC, then-No. 6 Lovett and No. 2 Holy Innocents' - on the road, and won all three. Up next they'll play Pace Academy (4-7, 2-3) on Tuesday, followed by Hapeville Charter (9-8, 1-4) on Friday before playing a non-league contest against Loganville (9-6) at Archer as part of the Krossover Classic.

2. Holy Innocents' (13-3, 4-1 R6): The Lady Golden Bears closed out 2014 in Naples, Fla., with a 63-51 win over Butler (Louisville, Ky.) on Dec. 31 in the Naples Holiday Shootout. They opened the new year last week with a 48-27 win over Pace on Jan. 5 and Saturday's loss to Wesleyan - both region contests. They maintained their No. 2 ranking despite the Wesleyan loss. They hit the road for two games starting Tuesday with KIPP Atlanta Collegiate (listed as 0-5, 0-5), followed by No. 10 GAC on Friday. On Saturday they travel to Archer, where they'll play Class A's No. 1 team, St. Francis (15-1), as part of the Krossover Classic.

3. Pelham (12-1, 5-0 R1): The Lady Hornets opened the season on a 12-game win streak before falling to AAAAAAA's Lowndes 54-46 in a road contest last Tuesday. They rebounded with a convincing 62-26 region home win over Brooks County (6-9, 2-3). On Tuesday, they'll take on Cairo (8-7) on the road, followed by another road game against Valdosta (9-9). Both are non-region contests. However, on Saturday comes an important league game against No. 6 Fitzgerald (10-2, 3-1). They beat Fitzgerald 85-54 on Jan. 2.

4. Model (18-0, 6-0 R7): The Lady Blue Devlis will come off a nice six days of rest - they last played Friday and beat Cleveland (Tenn.) at home 61-34 on Jan. 9- and will travel to Chattooga (3-12, 0-5) for a Saturday game. They won't play after that until next Tuesday when they travel to Dade County (11-6, 3-2).

5. Rabun County (13-3, 2-0 R8): The Lady Wildcats opened 2o15 with a pair of region wins, hosting and defeated Social Circle 74-32 on Monday before traveling to and defeating Union County 57-34 on Friday. They travel to Oglethorpe County (2-12, 1-2) on Tuesday before playing at Union County (9-6, 3-1) on Friday. They close out the week hosting Greene County (4-11, 2-1) on Saturday.

6. Fitzgerald (10-2, 3-1 R1): The Lady Purple Hurricane went 3-0 last week in league play with a 74-46 home win over Berrien on Monday, followed by road wins over Seminole County (67-31) on Friday and Early County (85-57) on Saturday. They hit the road for three region road games this week, beginning with Berrien (8-7, 2-2) on Tuesday, followed by Thomasville (8-8, 2-3) on Friday and the big showdown with No. 3 Pelham on Saturday in which they'll look to avenge their blowout loss to them.

7. Bleckley County (8-3, 4-0 R4): The Lady Royals ended 2015 with a 71-48 to Warner Robbins in the Bear Brawl Championship on Dec. 21. After nearly three weeks off, they shook off the rust to beat region foes Lamar County (50-39) on Jan. 8 and Dodge County (37-32) on Jan. 9. They play at Monticello (6-8, 2-2) on Tuesday, then host Northeast (3-10, 1-3) on Friday. On Saturday, they travel to AAAA's No. 8-ranked team, West Laurens (13-3), for a non-region contest.

8. Vidalia 14-1, 7-0 R2): The Lady Indians picked up a pair of region wins over Jeff Davis (70-52) on Tuesday and Bryan County (55-50) on Friday. On Saturday they beat Montgomery County 56-36 in a non-region game. All three matchups were at home. This week they play region games and both are on the road. On Tuesday they play Long County (12-5, 5-2) and on Friday they play St. Vincent's (6-7, 2-4).

9. Putnam County (13-4, 3-1 R4): The Lady Eagles played one game last week - a region matchup at Lamar County - and won 63-49. They have two region games this week, starting at Northeast on Tuesday, followed by Monticello at home on Friday. They should be well rested for next Tuesday's rematch against No. 7 Bleckley County, which beat them 58-49 on Dec. 8.

10. GAC (10-6, 4-2 R6): The Lady Spartans went 2-1 last week - all region games - and it was their strong showing in a 65-58 home loss to No. 1 Wesleyan on Monday, coupled with a 52-46 home win over No. Lovett on Saturday, that earned them a spot in the rankings. They sandwiched in a 64-20 home win over KIPP on Friday. They only have one game this week, but it's a big one - No. 2 Holy Innocents'.
