Norcross 35, Archer 16

How the game was won: Norcross led 14-0 by the end of the first quarter and scored the first 21 points of the game to make routine work of visiting Archer. Baron Radcliff accounted for two touchdowns in the opening quarter as the Blue Devils took control. The Tigers pulled to within 28-16 at halftime, but they failed to score a single point in the entire second half.

Top performers: Radcliff passed for 331 yards and three touchdowns and he also scored on a one-yard run in the first quarter. His first scoring strike went to Robert Sims from 19 yards before he tossed a 27-yarder to Isaiah McKay. Clay Harris added a one-yard scoring plunge for the Blue Devils, giving them a 21-0 cushion in the second quarter. Archer tried to stay competitive with a 99-yard kick return to the endzone by Tyler Ranel and a five-yard touchdown run from Keegan Strickland that was set up by a Taiyon Palmer interception. Palmer finished the night with two picks.

Parkview 34, Tift County 15

How the game was won: Parkview's defense allowed only one touchdown and the Panthers dominated the second half 25-6 to storm past Tift County. The Blue Devils tied the game at 7-7 in the second quarter on an 11-yard touchdown pass from Griffin Collier to Fred Lloyd and they took a 9-7 lead into halftime following a safety on a bad punt snap, but it was downhill from there for the home team. Parkview led 15-9 going into the fourth quarter put the game away with a trio of touchdown runs.

Top performers: Before the Panthers took control with their ground attack, quarterback Caleb Mitchell had his way with Tift County through the air. Mitchell opened the scoring with a 22-yard touchdown pass to Christian Malloy and he tossed a 14-yard touchdown strike to Miles Marshall in the third quarter. Malloy added a 49-yard touchdown run later in the contest. Deion Slade delivered two scoring runs in a span of less than five minutes midway through the fourth quarter to end the Blue Devils' comeback hopes. Tift County got a 95-yard kickoff return to the endzone from Cam Cobb for its only second-half points.Grayson 39, Deerfield Beach 14

Grayson 39, Deerfield Beach (FL) 14

How the game was won: Grayson quarterback Chase Brice hit DeAngelo Gibbs for a 49-yard touchdown to build a 22-7 halftime lead. Jamyest Williams returned an interception 29 yards for a touchdown with 2:24 left in the third to grow the lead to 32-7 and Brice found Kurt Taylor for a Grayson touchdown two minutes later to make it 39-7 entering the final quarter.

Top performers: Brice finished 9-of-13 passing for 148 yards and three touchdowns. Taylor caught 43-yard touchdown and ran in a 5-yard score. Gibbs caught a seven-yard touchdown pass and a 49-yard touchdown pass from Brice.

Buford 38, Jefferson Davis (Ala.) 30

How the game was won: Buford held a 31-7 lead early in the fourth quarter, but visiting Jefferson Davis scored 16 straight points on two touchdowns and two-point conversions to pull within eight points. TD Roof's 18-yard touchdown run in the fourth made it 38-23, but Davis scored another touchdown and two-point try late in the clock to remain within a score. Buford recovered the onside kick and ran out the clock for the win.

Top performers: Anthony Grant rushed 19 times for 108 yards and had a 41-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Grant also caught a 43-yard TD pass from Mic Roof to open scoring in the first quarter. Roof finished 9-of-16 passing for 168 yards and two touchdowns, with the second coming to Jamal Singleton in the second quarter. TD Roof rushed for 81 yards and two scores, his first being a five-yard rush in the first quarter. Bernardo Burgos hit a 23-yard field goal in the fourth.

Forsyth Central 31, Duluth 20

How the game was won: Forsyth Central overcame a 14-0 and then 20-10 deficit to win the game with two fourth-quarter touchdowns, one by Sabrian Howard and one by Blake Wood to clinch the win with 4:37 remaining.

Top performers: Howard rushed 39 times for 226 yards and three touchdowns. Howard had a one-yard scoring rush in the second quarter, a 22-yard run in the third and a 19-yard run in the fourth. Wood's TD was a nine-yard run. Christian Petino hit a 41-yard field goal for Forsyth Central's first points. Duluth quarterback Jalil El-Amin was 20-of-35 for 178 yards and two touchdowns.
