Rome is the first team from Rome or Floyd County to win a football state championship since Darlington in 1998. Which Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame member was the head coach of that Darlington team as well as East Rome's 1977 and 1978 state champions? (Answer Wednesday)

Answer to Monday's question: The 2006 state championship games that ended in ties were Roswell vs. Peachtree Ridge (14-14) and Charlton County vs. Dublin (13-13). The first two overtime games in state-finals history were played between Buford and Calhoun. Buford won in 2010. Calhoun won in 2011.
