Elberton's Mecole Hardman, Jr. is one of the most tantalizing rising seniors in the nation on UGA's board for 2016.  UGA and Tennessee have been seen as his co-leaders for the longest time and he will also make a silent commitment this fall.

He’s also going to check out a Big 10 school this fall. The four-star athlete told the AJC that he’ll take a trip to Michigan for one of his five official visits.

Hardman will also see a dandy of a game as he does. Hardman said he'll be up for the Ohio State game this fall. That's a good local example to that already offers up evidence of how effective new Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh will be recruiting down South.

The senior told the AJC over the summer that Auburn made a move in his mind to become his No. 3 school, but Michigan's entry into the Hardman sweepstakes is definitely interesting. The Michigan angle is unique as Hardman's ceiling as a college prospect could resemble what Charles Woodson did for the Wolverines a generation ago.

Hardman is rated by the 247sports composite as a four-star recruit, the nation’s No. 2 athlete and the No. 40 overall prospect for 2016. He plays quarterback for Elbert County, but will line up at defensive back or receiver or maybe even both spots on Saturdays.
