Despite the sunshine, it’s cool and breezy. And the weekend forecast includes lows in the 30s, according to Channel 2 Action News.
“It’s going to be the coolest start that we have experienced since March 17,” Channel 2 meteorologist Katie Walls said.

Currently, it is 62 degrees in Atlanta, passing the expected high of 60 degrees. Temperatures are 13 degrees lower than the average high for this time of year.
Northeast Georgia is under a wind advisory until 8 p.m. Atlanta is not part of the advisory.

Be prepared to bundle up Saturday morning, when temps are expected to drop to 39 degrees, meteorologists said.
Temps will, however, rebound to 67 degrees.
Pollen is on a downward trend, aided by severe storms this week. There were 2,631 particles of pollen per cubic meter of air before storms Wednesday, 872 Thursday and 622 Friday, according to Atlanta Allergy and Asthma.
The count this time last year was 492, far below last year’s season high of 4,107.
