A “summertime kind of front” moving into metro Atlanta should bring lighter, breezier weather Saturday afternoon and Sunday, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Weather should be “less humid, breezy this afternoon,” Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan said.

After a 30 percent chance of rain Saturday, the front will clear out the humidity and there’s no chance of rain Sunday. Most of Saturday’s rain should be south of metro Atlanta.

Saturday’s high is expected to be a warm 89, exactly the average for this date, and up from Friday’s high of 85.

About 2 p.m., temps were at 87 in Atlanta, 86 in Griffin and 81 in Dalton.

Lower humidity ahead for your Saturday
