The 70s are forecast to last through next week and temperatures may reach the 80s, according to Channel 2 Action News.
The the high for the day was 71 in Atlanta. The current temperature is 64.
“We’ve enjoyed some sunny skies today despite some clouds and a cool start,” Channel 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz said.

Expect temperatures to drop further into the 60s overnight. Atlanta could wake up to 50s before it sees warmer temperatures Saturday.
The pollen count is down from 631 particles per cubic meter of air Thursday to 74 Friday. But that could change.
“This weekend and in this stretch of sunny and warm weather, that pollen count is likely to go up,” Nitz said.

Atlanta could see a high of 75 Saturday, according to the latest forecast.
“We’ve been struggling to string together two nice days on a Saturday and Sunday,” Nitz said.
This weekend delivers. Sunday’s forecast high is 70 degrees, Channel 2 reported.

The nice weather should continue into next week, and it could be in the 80s by Tuesday, according to Channel 2.
