It is still another year until the construction walls 'melt' around the former Norway attraction in Epcot at Walt Disney World, but the mouse house is giving a sneak peek at how Elsa, Anna and Olaf are transforming the former Maelstrom ride into "Frozen Ever After."

The ride will "take you back to the movie without retelling that story," Kathy Mangum, Imagineering creative executive told The Wall Street Journal.

The old Maelstrom ride decor has been removed. The path the water ride takes and the boats will remain the same as the former incarnation. But the look and feel of the ride will be from the blockbuster movie, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The story, which is important to many, if not all of Disney parks, will be of a winter festival that takes place during the summer in the fictional world of Arendelle.

Before guests board the boats, The Wall Street Journal reported, the story begins as visitors will wait in line near Wandering Oaken's Trading Post, with the occasional "yoo-hoo" call from the movie. Then guests meet Olaf and his buddy reindeer friend Sven, before moving to Troll Valley for a recap of how Anna and Kristoff met.

Elsa will appear deeper into the ride through a set of closed doors in her ice castle to pack the punch of "Let It Go."

The audio-animatronic characters will be state of the art, Magnum told The Wall Street Journal, similar to ones introduced in the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train that opened in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom last year.

Disney Parks told WFTV the Frozen ride is expected to open in 2016.
