This week on "Texas Standard," I had a chance to break down a short list of some of the most overrated gadgets and technologies, from smart homes as a concept (which let's face it, have not really changed a lot of lives yet) to curved HDTVs to the iPhone itself, which is starting to feel a bit like stagnant tech compared to its competitors.

Others mentioned by listeners on Twitter including Fitbit trackers, robot vacuums, Kindles and the Apple Watch. Got others? Leave a comment!
