Laser enthusiast Patrick Priebe took nearly 50 hours, spending $200 to invent a functioning laser watch modeled after the original James Bond gadget.

A video on Priebe’s site Laser Gadgets shows the watch bursting balloons, lighting matches and burning through a plastic CD case.

And it still manages to keep track of the time.

The inventor says he built every component of the device – even down to the screws.

You’re out of luck if you want to build one yourself, though; Priebe has no plans to release any schematics and will not mass-produce the watch.

But it's still impressive to see it take out a number of balloons in mere seconds.
