Austin Free-Net, which has long provided computing and Internet resources to the local community, is partnering with more than 20 organizations, from Austin Skillpoint Alliance to Google Fiber, the City of Austin and Austin Community College to present its first Digital Resource Fair.

The free event, taking place from 12-4 p.m. Friday, May 13, will be at ACC's Highland Campus and will give anyone interested information about adult computer training programs, summer programs for kids and Internet services.

Groups represented there will include Austin public libraries, Capital IDEA, El Buen Samaritano, Latinitas, United Way / 211, Microsoft and the Literacy Coalition of Central Texas.

Just before the Resource Fair, the city is expected to present a proclamation for Digital Inclusion Day in Austin.
