Western Michigan’s seven-overtime game win over Buffalo Saturday led to a wild sibling celebration on the field during the game.

Western Michigan tight end Donnie Ernsberger scored on a 14-yard pass in the first overtime. The tight end’s sister ran onto the field to celebrate with her brother, despite the fact that the game was not over.

The result was a penalty assessed on the extra point –– a point after that would tie the game if made or result in a Western Michigan loss if missed.

Ersnberger’s sister was escorted out of the stadium after her celebration.

Western Michigan went on to defeat Buffalo 71-68  in the multiple overtimes.
