Atlanta’s Walker Zimmerman scored the final goal in Dallas’ 3-0 win over Portland in MLS action on Saturday.
Zimmerman, behind a running start, hit a powerful header from the center of the penalty box just under the bar in the 53rd minute.
The win ensured that Dallas remains atop the Western Conference with 51 points. It was Zimmerman’s third goal this season and the fifth in his four-year career.
