Dec 19, 2017Texas Tech walk-on safety Justus Parker was given the surprise of a lifetime when he received a personalized message from New England Patriots revealing he earned a scholarship.
Patriots’ Danny Amenola and Rob Gronkowski recorded a video after the team’s 27-24 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
After the announcement, Parker was congratulated by his teammates.
This season, the sophomore safety from La Vernia, Texas recorded 42 total tackles, four forced fumbles, two interceptions and two deflected passes.
