In the Atlanta Hawks' 118-115 win over the Detroit Pistons Sunday, a technical foul called on Blake Griffin after he inbounded the ball off Dennis Schroder's head in the second quarter.

Griffin initially appeared to apologize to Schroder and the referee like it was an accident, but there was no Piston player in the area when Griffin tossed the ball.

Griffin finished Sunday’s game with 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

Schroder had 23 points, three rebounds and seven assists in the Hawks’ win.
