An 18-year-old Florida girl battling liver cancer has died.
Jacksonville Jaguars player Sen'derrick Marks took Khamayea Jennings to the prom earlier this month.
Marks asked Jennings to go to prom while she was hospitalized at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
Marks picked her up in his Lamborghini and they made their entrance at the dance wearing white and gold.
“Anything you can do… It can be the one moment of their lifetime,” Marks said on prom night. “All I want to do is make sure she continues to smile and have a great time tonight.”
Loved ones left their condolences on her Facebook page.
Jennings was a graduate of Frank H. Peterson Academies of Technology.
The teen had been battling cancer for the last two years.
