Sweet 16 Highlight: Loyola’s Marques Townes hits a 3-pointer to cap 20-4 run against Nevada

With the shot-clock down to two seconds, Loyola-Chicago’s Marques Townes hit a 3-pointer to cap a 20-4 run by the Ramblers in their first Sweet 16 appearance in 33 years.
Townes, who hit two free throws that gave the Ramblers their first lead over the Nevada Wolfpack since the opening minutes of Thursday’s game, gave the Ramblers a 28-24 lead with his shot.
Entering halftime, Townes shot 2-of-5 from the field and hit 4-fo-4 free throws for nine points and had two rebounds.
