Special pizza part of Rex Ryan’s welcome package in Buffalo

Ever wonder what frosting might look like on a huge pizza? Wonder no more.

Though Rex Ryan coached the rival New York Jets for six years, the Buffalo Bills made it clear any hard feelings were long gone by welcoming their new leader with a massive cheese pizza.

Sounds great. Except this pizza had a topping that looked like … cake frosting? Yeah, about that: Both SI.com and SBNation talked to folks at La Nova, a local shop that made the pizza. Turns out the blue and red text is spinach, ricotta cheese and food coloring.

And it’s apparently all edible. Delicious, right?

Maybe those hard feelings aren’t completely gone after all.
