In this episode of Southern Fried Soccer (available on I-tunes), the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Doug Roberson is joined by Jason Lonshore of 92.9FM and Soccer Down Here to discuss Atlanta United’s 3-0 win against Philadelphia on Wednesday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The victory, secured by goals from Julian Gressel, Josef Martinez and Jacob Peterson, clinched a spot in the MLS playoffs. The Five Stripes are the first expansion team since Seattle in 2009 to achieve that.
