One Seattle fan has come up with a unique idea in an effort to prevent the Seahawks from losing a third consecutive time to the Panthers.
The fan has proposed that Panthers' star quarterback Cam Newton be banned from CenturyLink Field and has even started a petition.
Carolina defeated Seattle there in Week 6 and again in Charlotte in the divisional round of the playoffs.
This Seahawks supporter might still be upset over Newton tossing a "12th Man" flag that was waved in his face after the Panthers advanced to the NFC championship game.
"Cam Newton is one of the most unprofessional, unsportsmanlike individual (sic) on the face of the planet," the petition reads. "So I say for the 2016-2017 (season) when the Panthers come to play in Seattle he should be banned from entering the stadium. This should teach him to put his arrogance in check!!"
The petition had been signed by more than 1,400 people as of Tuesday afternoon, but plenty of Panthers fans invaded the comments section to support Newton.
One of the best burns was posted by a South Carolina Panthers fan, which read: "You couldn't even keep Cam out of the end zone. How are you going to keep him out of an entire stadium?"
