Dallas Wings guard Allisha Gray was named the WNBA Rookie of the Month on Thursday for her performance during the month of May.

Gray averaged 13 points per game, five rebounds per game and 24.4 minutes played per game— the most among all rookies.

Gray, an alumna of Washington County High School in Sandersville, Ga., shot 46.8 from the field during May, 18th overall in the WNBA.

After winning a National Championship at South Carolina, Gray was selected fourth overall in the 2017 WNBA Draft by the Wings.
