Atlanta United vice president of business operations Ann Rodriguez has resigned, effective this summer.

According to a statement from the MLS club, Rodriguez wants to move back to her native Northeast. The team didn’t list when she is leaving.

She joined Atlanta United in 2015 and is credited with helping the team reportedly sell more than 30,000 season tickets, among other things. A national search is underway for her replacement.

She is a native of Annapolis, Md. with a degree from Princeton and Stanford.

Among her previous jobs she was director for global brand marketing, soccer and lacrosse, at Under Armour, one of several jobs of increasing importance she had at that company.

She was also previously vice president of sales and marketing for the San Jose Earthquakes.
