D.C. United is preparing to trade center back Bobby Boswell to Atlanta United, according to a report by the Insider.

With D.C. United in last place in the MLS’s overall standings, the club is expected to make a few roster moves before the trade deadline on Wednesday.

The Washington Post reported D.C. United would most likely receive a draft pick for the 34-year-old Boswell whose role has diminished this season.

In the final year of his contract with D.C. United, Boswell is reported to make $260,000 this year. Boswell has appeared in and started 10 of 23 games for D.C. this year and scored once.

Boswell began his career with D.C. United from 2005-2007 and then spent six seasons with the Houston Dynamo before returning to D.C. in 2014.

Boswell also played with the Men's U.S. National team three times between 2006 and 2007.
