New Florida State head coach head coach Willie Taggart could be adding a “Prime Time” addition to his coaching staff in the near future.

According to a report from Noles247 reporter Josh Newberg Taggart and former Atlanta Falcons cornerback Deion Sanders have "mutual interest" in Sanders joining the Florida State staff as a defensive backs coach.

Taggart posted a photo of he and Sanders to his Twitter account Wednesday morning ahead of the Seminoles game against Southern Miss at the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La.

The report went on to say the two are in the “early discussion phase.” Sanders was drafted fifth overall by the Falcons in the 1989 NFL draft. In five seasons with Atlanta he intercepted 24 passes and made eight Pro Bowl teams.

He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.

Sanders works as an analyst for the NFL Network as well as coaching high school football in Texas.
