Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety T.J. Ward was arrested Tuesday for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and online records.

Rapoport reported Ward was held overnight and released from jail Wednesday morning after posting $2,500 bond.

Ward, the brother of Atlanta Falcons running back Terron Ward, signed with the Buccaneers after being released by the Denver Broncos in the preseason.

This season with the Buccaneers, Ward played in 12 games and started five, recorded three deflected passes, one fumble recovery and 30 tackles.
