Over the last 25 years, boxing legend Muhammad Ali, once the nation’s epitome of strength and power, and nice guy actor Michael J. Fox have helped spread the word about the debilitating impact of Parkinson’s disease on people’s lives.
Ali died Friday in a Phoenix hospital after being admitted for having respiratory problems.
While he was alive, the once physically strong Ali starred with Fox in a series of infomercials and commercials to raise awareness about the disease.
Ali had trouble speaking and would often stay silent or close out the ad with a punchline.
In one commercial, Fox says that neither men would stop fighting until there was a cure for the disease and then hits Ali with a fake punch.
Ali then "hits" Fox with a real punch causing the actor to fall over his seat onto the ground.
“I’m still bad,” Ali said into the camera with a wry smile.
