Lawrenceville’s Walker Zimmerman scored his first goal for Dallas this season in Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Portland.

Tied at one in the 56th minute, Zimmerman, a central defender, headed a corner into the bottom right corner to give his team the winning margin.

Zimmerman was selected by Dallas in the first round of the SuperDraft in 2013. He has made 32 starts and scored three goals.
