Georgia's professional indoor lacrosse team, the Georgia Swarm, defeated the Toronto Rock 20-17 on Friday night to win the regular season series.
The Swarm, now 2-2, played against the Canadian team at Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
"We’re happy to get the win, but we certainly need to tighten some things up defensively and continue to improve on that side of the ball," Swarm head coach Ed Comeau said in a news release.
The Swarm's next home match is against the Buffalo Bandits at Infinite Energy Arena in Gwinnett County on Sunday, Feb. 14.
The Georgia Swarm was "struggling" after losing 16-15 in its National Lacrosse League debut against the Colorado Mammoth in Denver earlier this month, the team said in a press release.
The Swarm relocated from Minnesota to Georgia last July. Its home facility is near Duluth.
