Atlanta United’s Tambakis posts second shutout

Atlanta United goalkeeper Alex Tambakis posted his second consecutive shutout while on loan with the Charleston Battery.

The Battery tied Orlando City B on Friday in Melbourne, Fla. Tambakis made two saves as the Battery improved to 1-0-1 this season. Charleston will host Wilmington at 7:30 p.m. on April 9.

Midfielder Junior Burgos, another Atlanta United player, is on loan at Tampa Bay, which will open its NASL season tonight against Indy 11 at Al Lang Stadium. It will be broadcast on ESPN3.
