Rockies' win eliminates Atlanta with four games to play

The Braves were eliminated from playoff contention Thursday afternoon when the Colorado Rockies clinched the NL wild-card by beating the Milwaukee Brewers.

Colorado's 9-2 victory gives the Rockies a 4 1/2-game lead over the Braves, who have only four games left to play.

The Braves, who have lost two straight games, hosted the Washington Nationals Thursday night.
