One week after being identified as the unnamed player the FBI investigation into the corruption of college basketball recruiting, Alabama basketball coach Avery Johnson announced Colin Sexton will be in the Crimson Tide's starting lineup for Tuesday's home opener against Lipscomb.

Sexton served a one-game suspension against Memphis for being mentioned in the federal complaint against Auburn coach Chuck Person and former NBA referee Rashan Michel.

In the complaint, the father of the unidentified recruit allegedly met with Person — who was one of four college coaches arrested in late September when news of the investigation broke.

Sexton, a former 5-star recruit, was last season’s AJC Class AAAAAAA player of the year at Pebblebrook High School.

The game between Alabama and Lipscomb tips off at 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Tuscaloosa’s Coleman Coliseum.
