Boston Celtics legend Bill Russell wants the world to know he stands with the Eagles.

Russell, 84, posted a photo on Twitter early Wednesday of himself kneeling while wearing the Presidential Medal of Freeman he was honored with in 2011 by former President Barack Obama.

“The best thing that happened to (the) Eagle since winning the #superbowl  is (President Donald Trump) uninviting them to the #WhiteHouse. Not 1 #Eagles player took a knee. It's about social injustice period! #TakeAKnee,” Russell wrote.

Russell also tagged several news organizations in his tweet like the Boston Globe, CNN, MSNBC and the Huffington Post.
