E.J. Montgomery, a power forward from Wheeler High School in Marietta, has been selected to participate in the McDonald’s All-American game March 28 at Philips Arena.

The 6-foot-10, 215-pound four-star recruit withdrew his commitment to Auburn in September in the wake of the FBI's probe into college basketball recruiting violations. He is the 31st-ranked player in the class of 2018 and has offers from Auburn, UCLA, Baylor and Georgia Tech.

Montgomery averaged 14.1 points and 11.0 rebounds for the Atlanta Celtics on the Adidas Gauntlet circuit in the spring and summer, according to ESPN.
