The Chick-fil-A Bowl announced the kickoff time for the 2018 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game Thursday.

The Auburn Tigers and Washington Huskies will kick off in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, on ABC in Atlanta.

“With two projected top 10 teams, two top 10 quarterbacks and two top-ranked defenses, this game will certainly have a major impact on the College Football Playoff,” Gary Stokan, Peach Bowl, Inc. CEO and president, said in a statement.

The 2018 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game marks the first meeting between the two teams and represents the first Pac-12 vs. SEC meeting in Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game history.
