Kennesaw State athletics and WellStar announce partnership

Jan 21, 2014Kennesaw State announced a muli-million dollar sponsorship agreement with WellStar Health System on Tuesday.
Kennesaw State will receive $2.75 million over 15 years. The Owls will receive $1.25 million over the first three years, followed by $125,000 annually for the remainder of the agreement.
In exchange, WellStar will be the official health-system provider for Kennesaw State athletics.
The Owls are starting football in 2015.
