Next for Thrashers

Who: at Bruins

When: 1 p.m. Saturday

TV; radio: FSSO; 680, 93.7

  • The Thrashers are coming off Thursday's 1-0 win over the Flyers, improving their record to 7-4-1 in the past 12 games. The Bruins are coming off Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs and are 4-1-1 in their past six games.
  • It's another elimination game for the Thrashers. A loss would end their postseason hopes. With a win, the Thrashers would wait on the results of the Sabres game Saturday and the Rangers and Sabres games Sunday. If each win or lose in extra time, the Thrashers are eliminated.
  • The Thrashers' power play has struggled mightily in the past eight games, going 1-for-27, including 0-for-16 in the past four. The unit has fallen out of the top 10 in the NHL and is 12th with an 18.1 percent success rate.
  • Nik Antropov has a goal in each of the past two games.
  • Former Thrasher Rich Peverley has two goals and two assists in 18 games for the Bruins since being traded in February.
