Delaney Fechalos scored on a penalty kick with 2:37 left in the second overtime period to give Blessed Trinity the Class AA state championship with a 1-0 victory. It is Blessed Trinity’s fifth title in eight years.
“It never gets old,” Blessed Trinity coach Gilbert Jean-Baptiste said. “This is our fifth, but probably the nicest of them all.”
Lady Titans goalkeeper Casey O’Brien kept a clean sheet. McKenzie Nelson was in goal for Greater Atlanta Christian.

Class AA
First Presbyterian 3, Paideia 2: Atalia Ramirez scored from 20 yards out with 2:30 left to break a 2-2 tie and give the host Lady Vikings the first Class A state championship in program history.
After a scoreless first half, First Presbyterian had taken a 2-0 lead on the strength of goals by Rebecca Miller midway through the second. But Paideia fought back and tied the score on goals by Kate Hines and Madison Hafitz, the latter of which came with 10 minutes remaining. First Presbyterian led in shots-on-goal 9-8.
