Late in Sunday’s game against the Detroit Pistons, Dennis Schroder hit a key shot off an assist by John Collins to make the game 101-99, Pistons leading.

Schroder was fouled by Pistons’ Ish Smith on the shot and sank his free throw attempt, which put the Hawks within one-point of the Pistons.

Schroder, who shot 7-of-13 from the field, finished Sunday’s win with 23 points, three rebounds and seven assists in the Hawks’ win.

The Hawks, who defeated the Pistons 118-115, play the Milwaukee Bucks at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
