Hawks re-assign Cunningham to D-League
Jared Cunningham is piling up the frequent flyer miles.
The Hawks re-assigned Cunningham to the team’s NBA Development League affiliate in Bakersfield (Calif.). It is the third time this season the guard has been sent to play for the Jam. He was assigned on Nov. 12 and recalled on Dec. 6 and assigned on Dec. 16 and recalled on Dec. 29.
Cunningham averaged 18.1 points, 5.4 assists and 4.5 rebounds in 33.1 minutes in eight games, all starts, for the Jam. He has made three appearances for the Hawks.
The Jam next host the Canton Charge on Thursday.
