Shane Lowry (8-iron), Ryder Cup captain Davis Love III (7-iron) and Louis Oosthuizen became the latest competitors to ace the 16th hole in competition on Sunday in the final round of the 80th Masters. It was the first time in Masters competition that three players have had aces in the same Masters.

1. Length of hole: The hole is often set up for drama on Sunday and 2016 is no exception. The ball feeds left toward the water and the hole, something both Lowry and Love were able to do. Oosthuizen's shot actually hit his playing partner's ball and then went in. Sunday it was playing 181 yards.

2. The easiest hole?: There have been 17 aces the 16th hole in competition, including the very first ever by amateur Ross Somerville in 1934 from 145 yards with a mashie niblick.

3. Other aces: The 12th hole has had three aces with Curtis Strange making the most recent in 1988. Jeff Sluman in 1992 has the only ace on No. 4, the longest in Masters history from 213 yards. And there have been five aces at No. 6 with Jamie Donaldson making one in 2013.

4. Watch me, watch you: In 2004, Padraig Harringoton and Kirk Triplett had aces in while playing No. 16 in consecutive groups.

5. Only once: No players who have made aces have made more than one in Masters competition.
