Georgia Tech obtained a commitment from a 19th member of the 2021 class on Saturday, safety Sirad Bryant from Crisp County High.

Bryant, a three-star prospect ranked the No. 49 player in the state of Georgia (247Sports Composite), announced his decision via his Twitter account. Bryant had announced his offer from Tech last October and has been a high-priority in-state target.

Bryant is the ninth prospect from the state to accept a place in Tech’s 2021 signing class and the third player listed as a safety. In June, Bryant included Tech among his top five along with Mississippi, Nebraska, South Florida and Kansas.

In May, Bryant praised Tech running backs coach Tashard Choice, his area recruiter, saying Choice was the reason he first began to consider the Yellow Jackets.

He’s just keeping it real,” Bryant said. “If he’s going to call, he’ll keep it sweet and short and he lets me go about my day. He checks every now and then. I like a coach like that.”

After Crisp’s commitment, Tech’s class was ranked 33rd nationally and eighth in the ACC.
