Georgia Tech faces East Tennessee on Saturday

Dec 6, 2013

Four days after its best win of the season and two days before final exams begin, Georgia Tech has a different sort of test Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets will play East Tennessee State at McCamish Pavilion at 2 p.m.

Tech, which rallied from 12 points down with under seven minutes to play against then-undefeated Illinois to win 67-64 on Tuesday, will play a team that lacks experience and has seven new players, but that also has won four of its past five.

Gregory wants the Jackets to work on playing more effectively on offense, both in transition and the half court.

“We want to run and we want to push the ball, but we have to make good decisions,” Gregory said.

Gregory said that there is a chance that forward Jason Morris, who has yet to play this season because of preseason surgery to repair a stress fracture in his foot, could make his debut Saturday.
