Georgia State announces 2017 football captains

The sun sets during the McEachern vs Mill Creek game of the Corky Kell Classic at Georgia State Stadium Saturday, August 19, 2017, in Atlanta.
Georgia State elected its 2017 football captains.
Safety Bryan Williams, cornerback Chandon Sullivan, quarterback Conner Manning and wide receiver Penny Hart are the Panthers’ 2017 captains.
“We expect leadership from everyone, but these four have stood out,” Coach Elliott told the team. “This should mean as much as any honor you will ever receive because you were chosen by your peers. Nothing is given. Everything is earned.”
The Panthers open the season and Georgia State Stadium Aug. 31 against Tennessee State.
