When Nick Chubb is thought of years from now, Georgia fans will remember the run he had against the Oklahoma Sooners in the third quarter of the Rose Bowl.

After forcing a a three-and-out on the Sooners opening possession of the second half and getting a nice return from Mecole Hardman the Bulldogs had the football at the 50-yard line.

On the first play of the drive, Georgia’s senior running back shook off a tackler at the line of scrimmage, then bounced off two defenders who simultaneously tried to bring the senior down. After he broke free again, he used his speed to run away from defenders for a 50-yard touchdown to cut the Bulldogs’ deficit to 31-24 early in the third quarter.
