Just the way Georgia Tech wanted to start the second half against Miami. The Yellow Jackets returned an onside kick attempt for a  touchdown to go ahead 21-13 at the beginning of the second half.

On Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium, the Hurricanes came out trying an onside kick. The ball rolled down close to the Miami sideline , but didn’t travel 10 yards. While the Hurricanes players waited for the ball to come to a stop, Georgia Tech redshirt junior Lamont Simmons wisely picked up the football and returned it 42 yards for a touchdown.
