Former Georgia offensive tackle headed to the Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers announced Thursday that the team claimed former University of Georgia and San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle John Theus.

The 49ers drafted Theus 145th overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. The former 5-star recruit from Jacksonville, Florida, played in four games in 2016 for the 49ers.
