Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has teamed up with fellow Atlantan and rapper 2 Chainz to hype Newton's Under Armour sneaker C1N, a tribute to Atlanta that sells for $120.
Newton, the league's 2015 MVP, is recognized for his off-the-field fashions. He speaks over 2 Chainz's "Let Me In" track saying:
“I’m all about sticking out, and speaking up and I’m not to fit into your world, I’m to make my own.”
“I’m bold.”
“Because so much of our influence as professional athletes ... comes off the field.”
“I’m big on expressing yourself in any light.”
