Buccaneers RG Davin Joseph vs. Falcons DT Corey Peters: Joseph has continued to play at a high level and was rewarded with his second Pro Bowl selection. Peters, a second-year player, is having a fine season with 30 tackles, six tackles for losses, three sacks and one interception. "He's very physical," Peters said. "He's a very aggressive, energetic and strong guy. He definitely knows his assignment all the time, and he plays hard."
Buccaneers CB Ronde Barber vs. Falcons WR Roddy White: Barber, a 15-year veteran, could be playing his last game in the NFL. He said he likely won't return if coach Raheem Morris is terminated. White is closing in on 100 catches for the second consecutive season. Since the Bucs placed Aqib Talib on injured reserve, Barber has taken over his role in the secondary. He did a good job on Carolina's Steve Smith last week, holding him to one reception for 9 yards. White is finishing the season strong and needs four catches to reach 100.
Buccaneers TE Kellen Winslow vs. Falcons SLB Spencer Adkins: Winslow leads the Bucs in receptions with 68, and Adkins will make his first NFL start. Winslow has 707 yards and two touchdowns. He caught only two passes for 20 yards in the 16-13 win over the Falcons on Sept. 25. Adkins, primarily a special-teams player, will start because of injuries to Stephen Nicholas (toe) and Mike Peterson, who was placed on injured reserve with a torn triceps.
