With the rash of injuries, most of the inactives were set before the Falcons (1-1) braced for their game with the  Saints (1-1) at 1 p.m. Sunday in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Falcons’ inactives: running back Devonta Freeman (knee), defensive end Takk McKinley (groin), defensive end Derrick Shelby (groin), tackle Matt Gono, offensive guard Zac Kerin, cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson and safety Keith Tandy.

Guard Ben Garland, who’s set to return from a calf injury, is active for the first time this season. He’ll back up the interior of the line with Andy Levitre on injured reserve and Wes Schweitzer moving into the starting lineup.

Rookie linbacker Dewey Jarvis is also active for his first NFL game. He’ll replace Corey Nelson on special teams. Nelson played 18 snaps against the Panthers, but was released by the team after reaching an injury settlement on Saturday.

The Saints’ inactives: offensive lineman Andrus Peat, linebacker Manti Te’o, defensive tackle Tyeler Davison, center Will Clapp, defensive lineman Mitchell Loewen, tight end Dan Arnold and defensive end Trey Hendrickson.
